Leon Bridges, El Michels Affair & Mari Froes at Madison Square Garden
Leon Bridges brings his blend of R&B, soul, and retro-inspired songwriting to Madison Square Garden in New York on May 1, 2027, joined by El Michels Affair and Mari Froes. The concert pairs Bridges' smooth vocals and classic soul influences with a lineup spanning contemporary soul and Brazilian music. Ticketsuniondale.com features this New York Concerts event in the R&b / soul category.
Bridges emerged with his debut album, Coming Home, whose warm, vintage soul sound introduced songs including “Coming Home” and “River.” He has since continued to develop his style across albums such as Good Thing and Gold-Diggers Sound, blending soul traditions with modern R&B. His expressive vocals and polished live arrangements make this bill a strong fit for the Garden's large-scale concert setting.
The announced lineup includes El Michels Affair, the instrumental soul project led by producer and multi-instrumentalist Leon Michels, and Brazilian singer-songwriter Mari Froes. Together, the artists offer a varied evening of groove-led arrangements and distinctive vocal styles. Prices currently start around $40, with costs varying by seat location and availability.
Venue and Seating Information
Madison Square Garden is a multi-level indoor arena above Penn Station, with direct connections to regional trains and nearby subway service. Its circular bowl has four main seating levels: Floor, 100 Level, 200 Level, and 300 Level. This central Midtown location makes the venue convenient to reach from across New York City.
For this concert, lower-bowl side seats in the 100 Level near center stage are a strong choice for balancing proximity and a clear view. Central sections in the 200 Level can also provide an elevated, full-stage perspective. Floor seats put fans closest to the performance, though standing crowds or production equipment may affect sightlines. Seats directly behind the stage and extreme upper-corner locations may have limited views depending on the stage setup.
Parking Information
Parking around the Garden is limited, and event demand can make nearby garages costly. Consider comparing garage rates and walking distances before travelling; public transport is also a practical option because the arena sits above Penn Station.
- Nearby commercial garages: Garages around Penn Station and 8th Avenue are generally a short walk from the venue. Event parking is approximately $30–$80, with prices potentially higher on busy concert nights.
- Herald Square or Chelsea garages: Garages roughly 10–15 minutes away on foot may cost around $20–$50, depending on demand.
- Street parking: Metered spaces are scarce and restrictions are strictly enforced, so street parking is not a dependable event plan.
Pre-check parking availability and pricing where possible, and avoid relying on last-minute spaces immediately around the arena, where garages can fill quickly and rates may rise.
